Elvish Presley

A badly painted sign made me think of this.
Mind your fingers on those sharp seams people!

The Rhythm Is Gonna Get You

Well, I finally found a few minutes to start animating
my drawing of Obo playing the drums.
In reality he plays a pretty mean electric guitar
but I don't think he can drum to save his life.

Japanese Fire Garden

Some digital photos I took earlier this week
as a Flash Slide Show it seems.

A bit early for Bonfire Night...

I've run out of free web space from my ISP so I'm currently
overspilling into PhotoBucket where I found this Film Loop
gadget.
Very nice, but I could do without the tracking cookies.

Obo Plays The Drums

Recently Obo has sent me a lot of abstract pictures produced
in Photo Shop.
This one looked so much like a drum kit I couldn't resist a
little addition using my pen tablet.

White Shoe Shuffle

Click the pink guitar for Obo's Flash Movie

Click the picture for Obo's 1,992kb Flash Movie.

I was in two minds whether to post this third recording.
Then Obo made me dance to my own tune in Flash
and I realised I'd have to take it on the chin!

Just the 1,392kb mp3 here About 90 seconds long.

He's never going to let me live down my stylistic aberration
of wearing white shoes with black jeans and T - Shirt.

USB Device

Last week I bought a Zoom G2.1u Guitar Effects Pedal/Processor.

I can now record directly into my computer via a USB port.
I can even multi-track in a limited way by going into sound properties
and selecting "USB Device" as the recording and playback option.

Despite the system requirements stating that it only works
with Windows XP I've installed Cubase LE on here without a problem.
I never could understand the sodding thing when I saw it in recording
studios so I've just done a couple of sample recordings using Audacity.

Me serenading Telly Doc with my USB device

Here's my first attempt.
A bluesy 799kb mp3 file entitled Only XP My Arse
The more musically astute may notice the structure is slightly wrong
but it loops perfectly if you set your media player on repeat!

Here's a slightly more ambitious second attempt with multi-tracking.
A shit kicking 1,044kb mp3 entitled Pointless 8 Beat Shuffle

Apologies for the ropey playing on both.
I'm desperately out of practice but having loads of fun again.

Hurrah!!!
